Jürgen Klopp Is Set To Rejoin Red Bull In A New Role In Soccer.

Klopp has returned! Red Bull’s network of teams will be supervised by the coach who brought his own “heavy metal” style of play to Liverpool.

January 1, 2025, will see Jürgen Klopp start a new position at Red Bull as Head of Global Soccer. This will be Klopp’s first assignment following his departure from the Premier League’s biggest team, Liverpool.

The flamboyant German will now be in charge of Red Bull’s global soccer club network. He will offer strategic vision, assisting individual sporting directors in furthering the Red Bull ideology, but he will not be involved in the clubs’ day-to-day operations. The 57-year-old will also help with the organization’s international scouting program and coach development and training initiatives.

Klopp, whose coaching career started in 2001 with Mainz 05, expressed his delight about the chance to have a strategic role in managing a multi-club project.
Jürgen Klopp joins Red Bull on a worldwide scale

“I am extremely excited to be a part of this project after spending nearly 25 years on the sidelines,” he remarked. “The role may have evolved, but my love for football and the players who contribute to its uniqueness has not.”

“I want to help the amazing football talent we have at our disposal grow and get better by joining Red Bull on a worldwide scale. There are numerous methods by which we might accomplish this, ranging from drawing upon Red Bull’s unparalleled expertise and experience to studying other sports and other sectors of the economy.

We can find what is possible when we work together. In the end, though, I consider myself as a member of a distinctive, forward-thinking organization that serves as a mentor to the coaches and management of the Red Bull clubs. I can’t express how excited I am about this.

With a focus on attack and a high-energy style of play, Klopp’s sides defeated neutrals worldwide and won trophies at both Dortmund and Liverpool.

After being appointed manager of the team where he had spent the most of his playing career, Mainz 05, he first shared his coaching philosophy with the public in 2001. His leadership helped them earn their first-ever promotion to the Bundesliga in 2004.

The team moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2008, and under Klopp’s leadership, they enjoyed great success at the Westfalenstadion, winning the Bundesliga in 2011 and 2012 and qualifying for the Champions League final in 2013.
