A minor road accident occurred on the Lekki-Epe express way yesterday during the evening hours. An accident involving a Siena Bus and Okada rider which led to minor damages but claimed no live.
According to report from Adahzion blog reporters, The Siena bus having only one passenger at the front seat alongside the bus driver collided with an Okada just after the Traffic light stand at the Lekki-Epe express way at about 6:30pm Yesterday 10th February, 2022.
Adahzionblog reporters has it that the Siena bus was on the move just after the traffic lights turned green as a signal for free movement of vehicles; the Okada driver driving one-way against the traffic not seeing the oncoming Siena bus in front of him accidental collided with the Siena bus, puncturing one of the front-left tire of the bus.
It was observed that the bus driver showed no aggressive display over the situation even though it was the Okada rider that was at fault and was to blame for the incident. The Siena driver who was very calm, came out of the Bus Steering, observed the situation of the punctured tires, looked at the Okada driver for some while, went back into his steering and drove the vehicle away from the side of the road in order not to cause traffic.
The calmness of the driver was a big surprise to many onlookers on the road including other motorist users as such a situation involving other Lagos motorist would have led to serious issues and even landed to fights between both parties.
