Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande are set to team up to finally rescue pop – held for ransom for years by Red Stripe-drinking boybands with acoustic guitars – by releasing “Rain On Me”.
The duet will drop next Friday (March 22) as part of Gaga’s upcoming Chromatica album, which Gaga and Grande themselves invented the ability to hear so we housebound coronavirus lockdowners could listen to it.
Both pop queens took to Twitter Friday afternoon to confirm the upcoming launch date, sending countess LGBT+ people out onto the streets, ready and rearing to do their best Shawshank Redemption impression as, finally, it rains on us all.
The song, produced by BloodPop, Burns and Tchami, will drop “midnight, Eastern Time, worldwide”, according to the “Stupid Love” singer herself wrote on Twitter.
