The Lagos State Government has decided to extend the hours of operations of both food markets and non-food markets in the state.
According to Dr. Wale Ahmed, Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs in a statement said that the decision is based on the Governors concerns and to enhance trade and commerce and mitigate the hardship of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Market is now open from 8.00am to 6.00pm
Food markets open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Non-food markets open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
