Nigerian men on social media are protesting after Vice President Kashim Shettima pledged N25m to indigent female students and asked men to find their own school fees.
In a video that has gone viral, the Vice President was in an institution of higher learning recently for their convocation lecture. While speaking, he announced the donation, which is to be used to pay the school fees of indigent female students.
Addressing the male students, he said, ‘’The men, I am just like you. You can struggle and pay your school fees.”
Nigerian men have reacted to the video, saying it is a man who is always working against their fellow men. One man mentioned that the world is rigged against the male gender.
