Monarch Arrested In Delta Over An Alleged Land Dispute

He was not kidnapped but arrested

HRM Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu, Traditional Ruler of Okpanam Kingdom, Ogoani of Okpanam has reportedly been arrested by Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force, Abuja over an alleged land dispute.

The whisking away of the Monarch caused pandemonium as people thought he was been kidnapped.

However, Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, however, denied that the traditional ruler was kidnapped.

He said police operatives from Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) arrested the monarch over an alleged land dispute.

He said:

“Pls and pls the Ogoani was not kidnapped but arrested by police operatives from FCID……”
