The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, donated the land for the monument.
After blaming a lackluster maintenance culture for the deterioration of picturesque campus grounds, Tinubu declared that N1 billion will be donated to restore the OAU horticultural landscape.
“I will donate N1 billion for the restoration of the OAU horticultural landscape,” she declared. When I was here, the campus used to be rather lovely. Ife is pleading for assistance. The campus used to be lovely, and it needs to regain that attractiveness.
