According to various reports in Italy, Arsenal’s €60 million (£51m) offer for Victor Osimhen has been rejected by Napoli.
It was gathered that the Gunners want to sign two new strikers this summer transfer window after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette left the club this year.
The club has held extensive talks to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City but Osimhen is also on the club’s shortlist.
The 23-year-old Edo-born striker has scored 28 goals in 62 appearances since joining Napoli in a £69.5m deal from Lille in 2020.
Arsenal has already tried with a €60m (£51m) but that has been turned down by Napoli, according to Il Mattino.
Osimhen scored 18 goals in 32 appearances for Napoli last season, while he has scored 24 goals in 51 Serie A games since moving to Italy.
