The same moment Delta Connection Flight 4819 crashed at Toronto Pearson Airport was captured on recently made public video.
18 of the 80 persons on board were hurt when a Delta Air Lines regional plane overturned while landing at the airport on Monday in the midst of high winds after a snowstorm.
A Canadian air ambulance officer reported that three people, including a kid, were among the injured and in severe condition. Immediately following the collision, fifteen other people were also transported to hospitals.
Late Monday, Delta announced that several of the injured had been freed.
The airline acknowledged that the incident involved a CRJ900 plane flown by its Endeavor Air affiliate. 76 passengers and four crew members were on board the 16-year-old aircraft, which was constructed by Bombardier of Canada and was propelled by GE Aerospace engines. Significant damage, including at least one detached wing, was seen in the post-crash video.
The cause of the crash, which is still unknown, is being investigated by Canadian authorities.
