Nollywood star Ramota Adeotu, better known as Aunty Ramota, has asked Nigerians for help because she is having problems with her management.
Aunty Ramota said through tears in an Instagram video that she is lost and doesn’t have a place to stay. She said things got worse when her helper, who had just gotten married, asked her to leave so they could have their own space, leaving her without a place to live.
Even worse, Aunty Ramota said that the man who had been helping her build a house quit all of a sudden because of personal problems.
To make things even worse, she said that her bosses took all of her money and deleted all of her social media accounts, including TikTok. This took away a very important way for her to make money and get noticed.
Aunty Ramota was very angry because, despite all her hard work, her bosses took advantage of her, leaving her open to being harmed.
She said, “I’m currently stranded without a place to stay.” The woman I was living with got married last month, and her husband didn’t want me to stay there, so she told me to leave.
“The man who was helping me build my house had to quit because of business.” Even worse, my bosses took all the money I had. They even wiped all of my social media accounts, including TikTok.
They stole from me because they thought I wouldn’t know how much we were really making as much as I worked. I don’t even have enough money to rent a place right now.
I turned down their offer to rent a space because I want to finish making my house, even if it’s just one room, so I can have a place to call my own.
