On the Benin-Ore Expressway in the Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Friday, an accident occurred leaving an un- identified man dead and six injured.
The accident was said to have involved a Nissan Vanette Bus with registration number REL882XA and a DAF Truck with number LAR 261XV.
It was gathered that one of the vehicles was driving against the traffic which caused the accident coupled with the fact that the road was wet and slippery.
Tola Ogunbanwo, the Public Relations Officer of the command confirmed that six persons died in the fatal accident.
He said:
“The victims were taken to the state General Hospital by the police working very close to the scene while corpse was deposited at a morgue in Opeyemi Hospital Hospital Ore.”
