The chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osita Chidoka, has said his party was in a dilemma over the zoning of the presidency to any region.
The former Aviation Minister, who appeared on news today, also told his Igbo kinsmen what they must do to have the PDP listen to them in their quest to grab the party’s presidential ticket for the 2023 general elections.
Chidoka said: “PDP is in a kind of dilemma. Do we struggle to win power first or continue our zoning as we have done or do we continue with the zoning even if that candidate may or may not win the election?”
According to him, “First of all, the Igbo people will have to bring out a candidate that can convince Nigerians, because Nigerians are not a party to these internal party zoning structures.”
