The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, paid a visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his Ota home on Sunday night, July 17, ahead of the February 25, 2023, presidential election.
Baba-Ahmed took to his Twitter handle to share pictures from the meeting. The visit may likely be to gather wider acceptance and support for their presidential ambitions.
“Earlier today, myself and H. E. #PeterObi in the company of other #NgLabour chieftains consulted with the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo,” he wrote.
