Bashir Ahmad took to Twitter to insult Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for “sleeping” during a courtesy visit to a monarch in Nasarawa state.
Peter Obi and his supporters were in the state on Saturday, October 29, to begin their campaign.
Posting a photo of Peter Obi and leaders of the party in the monarch’s palace, Bashir claimed that Mr. Obi was asleep during the visit and that it is not acceptable to take a nap while paying homage to a monarch.
”The guy beside the LP presidential candidate should please tap his shoulder to wake him up, it is against the culture and protocol to take a long nap while paying homage to a respected traditional leader down here,” he wrote.
