Presidential Election: Tribunal Adjourns Hearing Until May 18

The presidential election petitions tribunal has adjourned until May 18, the hearing of the February 25 election disputes.

It was gathered that Atiku Abubakar, PDP, INEC, and President-elect Bola Tinubu’s counsels have sought the adjournment.

“We have agreed to file all our responses and take all of them for the day we have agreed on, and we have agreed for post-Thursday next week, May 18, subject to your lordship’s convenience,” the petitioners’ lead counsel Chris Uche told the court during a hearing on Thursday.

Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, the presiding judge, subsequently adjourned the case until May 18.
