Presidents Day’s Open And Closing Times.

Every year on the third Monday in February, many Americans take advantage of a day off. The reason for this is because today is Presidents Day, which is formally known as Washington’s Birthday in remembrance of George Washington, the first president of the United States (whose real birthday is February 22).

In honor of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on February 12, the federal holiday has been expanded.

Additionally, a number of different retailers honor Presidents Day with deals and discounts.

The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq will not be open on Monday.

The majority of banks’ physical locations will be closed on Presidents Day, which is a federal banking holiday. On Monday, however, TD Bank locations will be open.

ATMs and internet banking will be accessible.

The majority of supermarkets and big-box stores, including Costco, Walmart, Target, and Kroger, will be open. Be sure to inquire about the operation hours of nearby eateries and shops.

All levels of government offices that are not absolutely necessary will be closed on this federal holiday. This contains numerous libraries, courthouses, city halls, and DMVs.

On President’s Day, the USPS will not be delivering mail.

FedEx will be open with limited service, and UPS will continue to operate as usual.
