In a press release released on Monday in honor of Yoruba Unity Day, Akintoye made reference to this and said that the only course of action remaining is the secession of Yoruba Nation from Nigeria due to the ongoing dangers to human life and the devastation of farmlands.
According to Prof. Banji Akintoye, national head of the Yoruba Self-Determination Movement, alleged Fulani bandits slaughtered at least 29,000 Yoruba people and are still raping women and torturing others.
