Aliyu Sokomba, NARD President stated on Thursday evening that the National Association Of Resident Doctors have suspended the strike.
He noted that the doctors decided to embark on a strike due to the failure of the Government to meet their requests made in June.
In June the Doctors downed tools over unpaid salaries, non payment of hazard allowance and a Dearth of Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) in hospitals amongst several other reasons.
The discussion with the Government on how to resolve issues continues on Friday.
