In the nation’s capital, Abuja, a man named Alex—who was thought to be a ritualist and Yahoo Boy—was discovered trying to kill a hook-up girl named Olivia for rituals.
The event happened at a hotel in Abuja’s Wuse Zone 5.
Olivia screamed from one of the rooms, and the hotel staff heard her and came to her rescue.
They discovered her fully nude, bound with cellotape, her hands and legs bound, and her mouth sealed.
“The FCT police command is aware of the video footage circulating about a lady who was criminally confined in Top View hotel, Wuse, Abuja on September 17, 2024, by an alleged Internet fraudster for money ritual,” said FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, speaking on behalf of the FCT Command.
According to the findings, the suspect has been detained by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and is not yet been turned over to the police for a thorough investigation.
“For all intents and purposes, the FCT police headquarters is waiting for the NSCDC to turn over all parties so that a careful and covert investigation can begin. “More information will be shared when it becomes available.”
