A nursing mother identified as Mrs Chizoba Eke, who was kidnapped alongside her baby on the 17th of August has been rescued about three days ago after a man named Mr. Chinedu abducted her baby and dumped her in a septic tank located at Igwuruta, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.
She was reportedly found in the septic tank of an uncompleted building.
However, was said to have been arrested while trying to traffic the baby through Omerelu, a border community between Rivers State and Imo State.
According to her Husband:
“I was invited by the police to come identify our baby, having lodged complaint when both my wife and baby got missing. The suspect is known to me as Mr. Chinedu. He had attempted raping my wife when she was pregnant.”
Nnamdi Omoni, The state Police Public Relations Officer also confirmed the incident.
