Zeenat Balogun, the well-known Nollywood actor Saheed Balogun’s daughter, passed away.
The actor shared a somber photo of a candlelight surrounded by flowers on his verified Instagram account on Saturday, along with heartbroken emoticons, to announce the death of his daughter.
His ex-wife, Fathia Balogun, and coworker, Ronke Ojo, also known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, verified the story a few hours later on Instagram.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” Fathia wrote beside a picture of a candle on social media.
“No words can ease the pain of losing someone so precious,” Ojo wrote as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you, @saidibalogun, during this extremely trying time. May the love and support that surround you give you strength.
The cause of Zeenat’s death is still unknown as of the publication of this report.
