In response to persistent allegations of homosexuality in the Nigerian film business, veteran Nollywood actor Segun Arinze has stated that adults have the freedom to choose.
In an interview with Arise TV, Arinze categorically denied any indication that he was involved in gay behavior.
“I can’t respond to it because I don’t bend over,” the actor said. If they do bend over, they ought to continue doing so. That’s their issue.
Since they are adults, they are free to do as they like. “I don’t care about it,” he declared.
The 59-year-old actor emphasized that he prefers to have a simple, professional life and stays out of needless disputes.
“I’m not going to worry about that.” I prefer to live a simple life, take care of my company, and act like the professional that I am. I don’t enjoy those lashbacks,” he stated.
Segun Arinze, one of Nollywood’s most renowned actors, has made the switch from music to acting over the course of a career spanning more than thirty years.
More than 250 film roles, multiple accolades, and his tenure as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria are just a few of his accomplishments to the Nigerian film industry.
