The father of the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, Joseph Aloba, has denied allegations that he fired the nurse who allegedly cared for his son prior to his passing.
Aloba’s comments address accusations made by Wunmi, Mohbad’s widow, in a February 19 interview with media personality Chudity.
Wunmi had stated that he disregarded the matter after telling Aloba about the nurse’s attendance and her part in Mohbad’s demise.
Aloba denied rumors that he had ever interacted with the nurse in issue during a TikTok live on Tuesday, stating that he had never seen her in person or online.
“I’ve never looked at the nurse. It would have been online if I had seen her. We haven’t actually met.
“There was never any communication between the nurse and me. I haven’t brought up the nurse since I began telling Mohbad about what transpired that evening. No one introduced me to the nurse, therefore I didn’t see one there,” Aloba remarked.
Aloba discussed concerns about his late son’s properties in addition to the nurse’s scandal.
Aloba, who had never purchased anything in Mohbad’s name as a father, questioned why his son’s property was in his grandson Liam’s name while speaking on Mohbad’s property.
“I don’t know how they did that, and when I met him when he returned from his tour, he told me that he had purchased two more plots at Elepe under Liam’s name for an unspecified reason.
“They purchased those two parcels of land in Liam’s name, but as Mohbad’s father, I have never in my life purchased anything in Mohbad’s name.
“Wunmi’s mother had all of the land documents, with the exception of the one at Gberigbe. I received it while he was still living. As a pastor, he expressed his desire to construct a church for me. The only one I can access is that one.
“Mohbad told me that he purchased land through Wunmi’s mother,” he claimed. He claimed to have purchased a plot at Elepe that has been given to Gberigbe and two acres of land at Agbowa through Wunmi’s mother.
