A businessman identified as Chief Emmanuel Bini has been killed by suspected assassins in the Agbarho community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta state.
It was gathered that a young man said to be his sales attendant was also reportedly shot dead in the attack.
According to the reports, the hoodlums struck at the late Chief’s chemist and PoS shop located at the popular Five-Junction in Agbarho on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Residents claimed that while the sales boy was murdered at the shop, the Chief was whisked away in a vehicle.
His corpse was reportedly found in the Ebrumede community, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state on Monday morning, November 14.
DSP Bright Edafe, Spokesperson of the State Police Command who confirmed the incident to The Nation on Wednesday in a text message, said he was “aware of the killing of the Chief only.”
