Terrorists have reportedly killed two villagers at Udawa village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
One of the victims of the attack which happened at the community located along Kaduna Birnin Gwari Highway around 8pm on Sunday, August 21, is reportedly a blind man.
Muhammadu Umaru, a community leader told newsmen on Monday, August 22, that the residents came out to engage the bandits with the support of nearby security agents, forcing the bandits to flee the community.
“Those killed were Sarkin Komo who recently moved into the village while the second person was a blind man who was hit by a bullet,” he said.
The community leader added that the security situation in that area is worrisome, and urged security agencies to intensify efforts to end the killings of innocent people in the state.
