Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, A Former Minister, Breaks The Silence After The Cabinet reshuffle.
In her first public statement since being relieved of her tasks in yesterday’s cabinet reshuffle, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady Remi Tinubu, and the people of Nigeria.
WHAT KENNEDY-OHANENYE SAID
“I am writing to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the bottom of my heart for giving me the chance to be a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.” Contributing to the growth of our country has been an honor and a pleasure.
For her help and advice, Kennedy-Ohanenye also thanked the First Lady, saying, “Her kindness and encouragement were instrumental to my success.”
INFO ON RESHUFFLING A CABINET
Six ministers were fired by President Tinubu’s cabinet change. They were Kennedy-Ohanenye, Prof. Tahir Mamman (Education), Mohammed Gwarzo (State for Housing), Jamila Ibrahim (Youth Development), Lola Ade-John (Tourism), and Betta Edu, who was suspended as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs.
The Niger Delta Ministry was changed and seven new ministers were chosen.
