Three people have been killed by bandits who attacked Dantsauni village in the Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
A source told reporters that the terrorists in their numbers, armed with advanced weapons attack the village on motorcycles on Wednesday, August 3, at about 3:55 pm when the faithful were preparing for Asr prayer.
Several people, mostly women, and children were said to have been kidnapped during the attack.
Upon arriving at the village, the bandits started shooting sporadically along the Katsina Ring Road which is close to Katsina town.
Another source told the reporters that during the attack which lasted for over 45 minutes, no security personnel was seen.
