According to President Bola Tinubu, the goal of his Wednesday visit to King Charles III at Buckingham Palace in the United Kingdom was to deepen diplomatic relations with that country.
Dada Olusegun, President Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, revealed this in a statement on his verified X account on Thursday.
He wrote: “His Majesty, King Charles, was visited by President Bola Tinubu at Buckingham Palace. The important encounter demonstrated Nigeria’s and the UK’s continued diplomatic relations and partnership.
The visit was also verified by the Royal Family of the United Kingdom, who shared a snapshot of the two leaders at Buckingham Palace along with the remark. The Federal Republic of Nigeria’s President paid His Majesty a visit at Buckingham Palace yesterday.
