The Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh says that ending her marriage was the wisest move she has ever done.
Dikeh emphasised how crucial it is to put her child’s and her own wellbeing first.
In response to a message from a single mother looking for guidance on overcoming the difficulties of parenting a child after divorce, the actress published this on Instagram.
The woman, who identified as “a nobody aiming to be somebody soon,” questioned Dikeh how she handled her ex-husband’s departure and voiced thoughts of inadequacy.
Dikeh responded, explaining that she had made the “best decision” of her life—leaving the marriage in order to better herself and her child.

In response, Dikeh said, “Good morning. Above all, it wasn’t me who decided to leave my marriage; it was me who made that decision. I had to get out of a bad circumstance for the benefit of my child as well as myself. Best choice I’ve ever made.

“Remember that if you put in the effort and dedication to grow into the person you want to be, you can achieve your goals. Put your kids’ welfare first while praying to God for wisdom and fortitude. Sometimes the end of the road signals the start of blessings, so please, stand up for your house if your marriage is worth it. Be careful.

“Dear single mothers, I don’t have a manual for these things,” she continued. I don’t support this movement either. The greatest instructor I’ve had is LOVE. I simply let God do what He does, and that’s sufficient for me. Seek God’s strength and, above all, maintain the privacy of your family problems.
