Two commercial motorcyclists have been murdered in Arigidi Akoko, in Akoko North West council area of Ondo state.
They were murdered at different locations in the council area and their motorcycles were stolen by their killers.
Sources said that one of the victims, a 28-year-old Dada Jatto, was a popular Okada rider in the community.
Jatto, a father of two, was earlier reportedly missing but his mutilated body was discovered three days later by a search team raised by the community leaders.
His corpse was said to have been discovered at Arigidi, along Okeagbe road while his motorcycle and mobile telephone were stolen.
The source added that the second victim was lured to a hideout between lkare and Arigidi by the killers who smashed his head with a sledgehammer.
He was said to have managed to describe his attackers and those who stole his motorcycle before his death to those who met him in the pool of his blood.
According to the report, one of the Killers was later apprehended by some vigilant security agents with the stolen motorcycle at Akunu Akoko, a boarder town of Kogi state.
Contacted, the State Police image maker, Funmi Odunlami, confirmed the murder of one of the victims.
Odunlami said that investigation into the two cases have commenced.
She promised that the killers would be unveiled and made to face the music.
