The University of Ibadan, the premier university of Nigeria. The University is located in the western part of Nigeria. The latest global university ranking made UI among the top 500 universities in the world. UI is the best university in West Africa. This ranking was released on Tuesday by the Times Higher Education.
Reacting to the feat in a statement, Idowu Olayinka, vice-chancellor of UI, emphasised THE’s criteria of teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. He also expressed his gratitude to President Buhari.
