Lavetta Langdon, 79 shoots husband Larry, 78 to death after 30 years of Domestic violence.
The couple originally got married in 1960 and divorced in 2012, and then got back again and remarried in 2013.
According to reports she had warned him that if he hits her again she would kill him and after he hit her at their home in McCook, Nebraska, USA, on August 20, she allegedly shoots him.
She said that on the morning of the incident they had argued on the issue of him beating her and shortly after the argument he fell asleep.
Shortly after he fell asleep, she got a 9mm gun and fired bullets into Larry’s chest until he died.
Meanwhile after her action she called the police with officers who saw her sitting on the floor of her living room, with Larry’s lifeless corpse lying in his bedroom.
However, a detective from McCook Police Department told the Lincoln Journal-Star that Langdon had complained of domestic abuse for 30 years.
Nevertheless, she has now been charged with first-degree murder, and is being held without bond ahead of her next court appearance.
