Women protest over two weeks lockdown extension in Delta state .Earlier today, women in Sapele, Delta state staged a protest over the extension of the lockdown in the state.
The state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, had yesterday announced a two weeks extension of the lockdown in the state, after three cases of coronavirus were reported in the state.
This led to a street protest by some women who said they are hungry and do not have food to feed themselves or their family members.
They demanded the state government lift the ban on movement of restriction for them to about their businesses so they can provide for their families.
