Workers Trapped As Three-Storey Building Collapses In Abuja

A three-storey building has collapsed in the Kubwa area of Abuja, with some workers reportedly trapped under the wreckages.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps said the incident happened at about midnight on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) are currently carrying out rescue operations.

The number of the people affected is unknown, but a resident said some injured persons have been rescued and taken to the hospital.
