2023: Disqualified PDP Presidential Aspirants To Face Panel

Presidential aspirants under the People’s Democratic Party who were disqualified during the party’s screening exercise, are set to face the screening committee for an appeal process.

We reported earlier that two PDP presidential aspirants were disqualified in the aftermath of the screening, which was held last week in Abuja.

Their disqualification was revealed by the chairman of the committee, and former Senate President, Senator David Mark.

According to Senator Mark, the two aspirants were disqualified owing to their failure to meet the needed requirements of the screening.

The disqualified aspirants, whose identities are still hidden by the committee, will appear before the party’s Presidential Screening Appeal Panel today.

The 25-member Appeal Panel is chaired by the PDP National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu.

Membership of the Appeal Panel comprises 19 members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and six members of the Board of Trustees (BoT).
