The Grammy Awards is noted to be a very big deal amongst individuals involved in the entertainment industry.

Several artists who have won a Grammy can attest to the significant boost it can give to a blooming career, not to mention the ecstatic feeling of validation that accompanies the accomplishment.

OLUSEGUN OLUMIDE SAMUEL AKA SEAL

He is a British-Nigerian musician and songwriter, who has won multiple awards in his career. He has won the Grammy Awards four times . He won three in 1996 and one in 2011

FOLASHADE ADE AKA SADE ADU

She is a British-Nigerian singer and songwriter who has won the Grammy Awards four times in total. She won in 1986, 1994, 2002, and 2011.

HAKEEM SERIKI AKA CHAMILLIONAIRE

The rapper was born to a Muslim Nigerian Father and an American Christian mother. He won his Grammy in 2007 in the Rap Performance by a Duo category

AYODEJI IBRAHIM BALOGUN AKA WIZKID

Wizkid’s Grammy win came via his feature on Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl video. The popular Nigerian Artist had already had a nomination previously. His monster hit collaboration “One Dance ” with drake was snubbed at the Grammys. His win was from the Best Music Video category.

DAMINI EBUNOLUWA OGULU

His nomination was in 2020, his album, African Giant was in the Best World Music Album category. His latest album released last year, Twice As Tall earned him his first win on March 14.
