Nathaniel Bassey is a Nigerian gospel Music Minister ,Songwriter and Ordained Pastor in RCCG, born in Lagos in 27th August 1978. Hail from Akwa Ibom State ,NigerDelta region. He is happily married with two kids.

He studied International Relations and Politics in UNILAG for two years before he moved to London to study politics. He then went on to study music at Middlesex Summer School, where the teachers got him acquainted with the music business and popular genres.
Nathaniel Bassey is the brain behind the #HallelujahChallenge, where he worships God for an hour, from 12:00 am to 1:00 am. He streams this event on his Instagram page and invites others to join him. In less than a month, the event had over 600,000 views. The #HallelujahChallenge for 2020 was held from 4 to 24 February
Nathaniel Bassey started his musical career in the church where he joined the Rhodes Orchestra and he played the Trumpet for two years.
He was just an ordinary trumpeter until he composed a song at the visit to the late Nigerian First Lady Stella Obasanjo, the late wife of former president Olusegun Obasanjo.
In 2018, He was one of the leading artiste in the acclaimed largest gospel concert in the world, The Experience ,hosted annually by House On the Rock Church.
