Nollywood actor Ray Emodi reacted tearfully after being called out by his colleague Rossy Adaigwe for his failure to refund the sum of ₦700k that was paid to him.
Adaigwe, who is both an actress and a director, had paid Ray Emodi the amount to play a role in a movie, which he initially accepted but later rejected after payment, and refused to refund the money.
Ray shared his side of the story, stating that he was underpaid. He usually charges ₦10 million for his services but decided to accept ₦700k for 40 scenes as a gesture of goodwill.
However, the director later increased the number of scenes to 60, which was different from the initial agreement of 40 scenes, leading to a misunderstanding between them.
