Akwa Ibom intercepts smugulled corspe from lagos
Akwa Ibom state government has lamented over smuggling of course into the state despite lockdown orders.
Dr.Dominic Ukpong the states Commissioner of health made it know that the smuggled corpse had been deposited in a mortuary until the confirmation of its COVID-19 status.
Ukpong who spoke while addressing the COVID-19 Incident Management Committee, (IMC) on Monday noted that all the contacts that came with the transporting ambulance were being quarantined. corpse brought in from outside the state.
