According to reports, Olabiyi, a well-known personality in the Yoruba film business, passed away in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Wednesday.
Following a struggle with illness that necessitated his admittance to the University College Hospital, UCH, he passed away.
Olabiyi was reported to have been speechless and immobile prior to his passing.
In a statement released late Wednesday, Bose Akinola, the chairman of the Oyo State Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, or TAMPAN, made the news.
We declare the passing of Chief Alhaji Musadshir Ayobami Olabiyi, also known as “Bobo B,” our TAMPAN National General Secretary.
He prayed that God would grant his family and other TAMPAN members around the world the strength to deal with the loss.
