According to reports, Bandits raided Federal Government Girls College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State, and abducted some female students.
The full information on the incident is still abit sketchy but according to Daily Trust, a security operative was shot during the raid.
The bandits were said to have come in on motorcycles from the neighbouring Rijau forest in the early hours of today and were said to have overpowered the policemen guarding the school.
At least 30 students and three teachers were reportedly abducted. This is the third known attack on a school in the community within three weeks.
