2 police officers were reportedly killed in a gunfight with bandits in Pyam Nation, Gindiri/Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State on Monday.
6 Bandits were also killed during the gunfight.
According to The Nation, the deceased policemen were Abdulrahaman Isa Danzakara, a.k.a (Dinyau) and an officer known as Hassan.
All attempts to confirm the incident from Plateau police spokesmen ASP Gabriel Ubah were futile as at the time of filing the report because his mobile number was unreachable.
