On Tuesday, along the Oba Ile Road, Akure, the Ondo State capital, a ghastly motor incident occurred claiming the lives of at least five mobile policemen.
According to reports, the victims were in a Toyota Hilux and were heading towards the airport when the incident happened at a sharp bend of the road.
Confirming the incident, Mr Tee-Leo Ikoro, PPRO of the state said “I will have to go to the hospital where they (victims) were taken to, to ascertain the number of the casualties.”
