There is a fire on a small part of the Lagos Blue Line track across from the NEPA Station, close to the Eko Bridge, in the Apogbon area of Lagos State.
The event happened at 4:12 p.m. on Saturday, according to a post on X.com by Gboyega Akosile, who is the spokeswoman for Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Akosile also said that no one was hurt and that there were no trains running at the time of the accident.
It was also said that the fire was out totally thanks to a group of safety and emergency workers and other first responders.
“Everything is under control, so Lagosians in that area can go about their business without any problems.”
“Please wait for more information about how the train works from @Lamataonline,” the post ended.
