According to some reports, some very dangerous robbers stormed two banks in Iree, Osun state, leaving at least three dead at about 3:50pm today, Thursday, August 5.
The robbers were said to have operated for about 15 minutes before leaving the scene.
Confirming the incident, a student said that the robbers were shooting sporadically into the air while escaping through Iree-Ada road.
The attack left at least three people dead.
A source said;
”The banks are situated next to a police station, the officers on duty had to flee. They carted away money and other valuables from the bank. As at the time of this report, we’ve counted at least three dead bodies.”
