Buhari Meets With Security Chiefs Over Ongoing Threats

The security forces have reportedly taken the fight straight to the insurgents and bandits.

The President Of The Republic Muhammadu Buhari has decided to meet with security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It was reported that the President set up the meeting to receive updates on security efforts and give direction on the next line of actions on the various operations to protect peace in the nation.

The security forces have reportedly taken the fight straight to the insurgents and bandits.

In attendance are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari; Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha; National Security Adviser, retired Major General Babagana Monguno; Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Lucky Irabor; Chief of Army Staff; Lieutenant-General Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amoo; and Director General, Department of State Services (DSS) Yusuf Bichi.

Present at the meeting also were, Minister of Defense, Bashir Magashi; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema, and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola in attendance.
