Dear good people of Lagos, the Lagos state government through the ministry of agriculture is doing everything possible to limit the harsh impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the state’s food security.
This week again, (April 22nd 2020) the ministry of agric has designated twenty seven (27) schools statewide to serve as temporary Shopping Channels/ Markets for us to be able to purchase needed food items at affordable rates.
We will have in place, at the markets, measures and facilities that will ensure both sellers and buyers maintain social distancing to avoid the spread of the virus and prevent all forms of accidents. .
.
The “Emergency Response Markets” commenced operations on Sunday, 29th of March, 2020 state wide and the next market day will be this Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020, state wide.
