Mohamed Elneny, Arsenal and Egypts midfielder has tested positive while on International duty.
He has been with the Egyptian team preparing for a must win clash in the AFCON qualifier on Tuesday, but has now contracted the virus, and will need to go into a period of self-isolation.
On Monday , his agent Alan Nazmy said in a post:
“Elneny Positive Cov19 get well soon.”
El Neny played against Togo in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday but will now miss the return leg.
