COVID-19: Nigeria Set To Receive 176,000 Doses Of Johnson and Johnson Vaccine

Nigeria set to receive J&J covid-19 vaccine

According to Faisal Shuaib, the Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Nigeria is set to receive 176,000 doses of Johnson and Johnson covid-19 vacine on Wednesday, August 11.

Shuaib speaking on the vaccine stated that the J&J vaccine is a single-shot vaccine that is very efficient and safe against coronavirus and the deadly delta variant.

The vaccine is expected to enhance Nigeria’s COVID-19 fight with the Delta variant sparking fears of a third wave of the pandemic.
