The Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has announced the passing away of his newborn baby boy.

The Portuguese captain took to social media to announce the heartbreaking news on Monday evening.

Unfortunately, the baby boy died immediately after birth.

According to the superstar, Georgina only gave birth to a baby girl.

The couple shares a five-year-old daughter, Alana, but the tragic news has left the football world mourning with the family.

United would be expected to give the forward some ample time to bear his grief.
